Default Metabolic Diet

Ok, so I'm going to read the book (ordered it today), but until then, how long does it take your body to make the switch to using fat as its primary energy source?

Craig-
It's tough to say...it's dependent upon current levels of insulin sensitivity and fat content of the diet. Over time we up-regulate the enzymes used to metabolize fat. Intermittent fasting and metabolic conditioning enhance this effect.

I like the Metabolic diet. Natural Hormonal Enhancement is a goodie as well and gets into endocrinology and lifestyle to a much greater degree. Well worth the read.
