Going for 100lbs in both arms next. That'll be nice. My left arm is no where near the right though, since I am right handed, and terribly uncoordinated with the left.

Dude, that is impressive. Good work. The true feat is keeping the barbell balanced so you don't knock yourself or someone else out in the process. Good work!!
All the best,
Arden

PULLUP! It's been exactly a year since I was last able to do one unassisted.

Linked 4 giant swings on highbar in a row. Wow, I was a little dizzy after that!
Guess they've never had as tall a guy as me doing giants...on my 2nd or 3rd one my toes dragged on the mat below me!
The head coach was watching me, he said all I really needed to do was hold the pike longer before I "tap", other than that he said I looked really good.
I will have a pic soon, no video this time, I'll post it in my workout log.
BTW, nice job Gittit!

Nice job to all. That some pretty cool stuff lately.
Garrett did you strap in or just rely on your hands?

Fully strapped on...I'm basically the equivalent of velcro-handcuffed to the pieces of plastic that spin around the bar. I need help getting the second hand strapped on/off.
If I had to rely on my own grip, the learning curve would have been much slower...I've also heard stories of "grip lock" from the head coach there, stuff like the high bar handgrips (the official gymnast ones, not my beginner training wheel ones) getting "stuck" during a giant, while the body/arm momentum keeps going...let's just say it ends badly for the forearm bones. I'll stick with what I'm doing now, giants are just a fun trick that I really don't plan on building much onto--there are no flying dismounts in my near future!
I am really looking forward to building speed and power into them, right now I'm barely more than a dead stop when I'm over the top of the bar, I want more ooomph!

That is awesome. the first time I saw Jr strap in and do giants I was in awe. I thought I wonder if that could have a long term impact on the length of his arms.

Grip lock is very rare.
But yeah, let's see it! Gotta hold the hollow until you pass through the bottom... a hard feat for most.

I will get video this next week, I promise.
Heck, no one I knew came to my OL meet this weekend, my coach was running the whole show, so I didn't even get any pics.
New snatch PR = 77kg, weighed in pre-meet at 80kg.
New OL total PR ('cuz it was my first meet, natch) = 177kg
BW snatch will be soon. Everyone said that my form on that PR snatch was better than my attempts at 60kg and 70kg prior.
Missed my PR attempt C&J @ 106kg. Old PR is 105kg.
