Thanks, Don. Nice squatting, and good luck on those strength goals. You've got a lot on me there.

More or less. PRs in training are 95 and 122.
Good luck! It'd be awesome if you beat them; I have a meet coming up in two weeks, so I could aim at beating whatever you put up at yours.

After last night's snatch session, I'll be happy to snatch my current best of 90...
We'll just pretend that the first hour of ugliness didn't happen, and that nice huge snatch of, um, 60, was what the night was all about.

This morning warmed up for some light cleans but felt pretty good
95kg, 110kg, 120kg/265lb PB!, 125kg just missed it.

Sweet!!! That's a big jump. Then again, 10-kilo jumps can sometimes work out pretty well if you're psychologically prepped for it--in the C+J, anyway.
Put together my light total one week out for my upcoming meet in Shreveport:
90/ 116 @85.
Nothing earth-shaking, but OK considering it came at the tail end of heavy snatching, heavier drinking, and a bunch of strength work. Optimistic about the LA meet--Goal is a 220 total.

cleaned 185 lb's at the PM chairty / o lift training in DC this morning. PR by 20 lb's. It was ugly but I got it. It was great training with everyone. It was real cool to workout with Allen, Steven Low and Jim from beastskills.com. BTW Jim is sick strong. It was really great to meet Greg, Allison, Russ, Jay, Jesse (Primal), Mark (Primal) and Tom (Crossfit DC).
Greg put on a great seminar and I am glad to see so many people come out and help raise money for Allen and family.

Nice lifting guys!
The rule in our gym is that if you are going for a PB you warm up to just below your previous best and then jump past it. My old PB was 115 so i did 110 and 120. I probably should have gone 112 then 117 but I hadn;t really planned on going heavy and i just wanted to clean two reds!
The good news is that i'm in the arly stages of a build up to a comp and i was a bit tired and not really revved up. I think if i attempt heavy cleans later in the day and get a bit psyched up i'll do 125 without too much trouble and then have a crack at 130+
Of course at some stage i'll have to start jerking these weights too.......
