I train alongside a bunch of USAPL national judges and I've worked several USAPL meets. I find the meets to be joyless soul sucking affairs with judging that is excessively harsh...unless the lifter is well known and liked.
They deserve cred for judging strictly but not fairly. That's been my experience.

Thanks. I was really floored with the red light on the second squat. "too powerful coming up????". I still had some gas left for heavier weight, but wanted a meet total. The 21 lb PR really made my day.
Really no control on the fed choice here in SD.

63 second handstand on Thursday; on the floor, no walking, with the legs together the entire time. I had some arm bend and planche lean by the last ten seconds, though.
That's the first time I've clocked over a minute.

And yes, I'm actually holding that handstand. Get on my level.

Did the TSC yesterday and got a 200kg deadlift at 90kg BW, a 10kg personal best. Bit annoyed at 18 pull ups though, hoping for 20.

16 dead hang pullups @188#'s
Best I've done in a long time, haven't hit those numbers in 3+ years before the elbow injury.

Deadlifted 405x5. First attempt over 400 and I hit my target of 5.

Squatted 211kg yesterday for a big PR over the 195kg PR I set this past Monday.
