Default How about the CrossFit Burgener bar

I recently stopped by the York Barbell retail store and was talking to Mike about an affordable training bar that I can leave at my gym.

He suggested rather than waiting for a reconditioned bar, that I pick up a CrossFit Burgener bar. He said for $300 it was a good value. Anyone have experience or thoughts on this?

I need a solid and dependable bar. I will if I have to, but would rather not spend too much.

There are a fair amount of CFers at my gym and they like to deadlift and drop with 20 kg bars because they're shiny and cool looking. Waiting for them to finish is disruptive to my training.

I've had my Pendlay HD with bushings, for about four months, also $300, and I love it.

Looks like you can get any number of bars right here in the PMenu store:

I've had my Chapman for about three years. Love it. The diameter of the bar is not standard: 32mm v. 28mm (tho newer models may be standard) and the knurling is perfect. I think I paid $400 for mine. But there are other great bar options out there as well.

I had heard that Chapman also makes the bars for Maverik.
