*no fast*
A little sore from a late judo session. I had a day of strength, OLY work, and stone lifting (hopefully) planned. Then things went horribly wrong.
1) OHS
65x3x5
Still getting stronger. These took some effort, but balance and stability is improving.
I was setting up for cleans but a couple guys were doing Fran, the CF WOD today. Justin was hollering at them, and the whole atmosphere was pretty good. So what the hell? My PR was 4:03, and I had missed it in my last two attempts. I was hoping to break 4 minutes, and I was looking forward to being hollered at and judged by a level 2.
3) Fran
21-15-9
* 95# thrusters (actually these were 96#)
* pullups
3:12
This morning's breakfast made a curtain call. Three to be precise. I didn't break anything until the last set of pullups; I coasted in on a couple single. Thanks, Justin.
Hit up Pendlay this afternoon. Picked up some more equipment. If y'all don't know what's going on with the USAW junior team, check this thread.

Nice Fran time. Are the OHS in KG? Still envious.

Thanks. It was rough. All weights in my log are in kg unless they have the pound (#) sign.

Yesterday was good. Smoked some meat, drank some Guinness, and cut cable for a grappling dummy.
1) OHS, 7 singles
60, 65, 67.5, 70, 72.5, 75, 77.5
2) snatch, 5 singles
60, 62.5, 62.5, 62.5x, 60, 60
Backed off on weight after the miss. I'm working on catching these in the hole rather than catch in power position and ride it down.
3) front squat, 7 singles
60, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 125
PR. 275.5#. Knees tracked in a bit on 120. 125 was fairly easy. 300# is not far off.
4) push press, 5 singles
80, 90, 95, 100, 105
PR. 231#.
5) atlas stones
3 tries on each stone because I forgot which one weighs more. I broke the ground but didn't lap it. Need to study form a little more. Used a rosin bag which helped a little (maybe). That will have to do until tacky comes in.

Man...you beat me to the 1min. tuck front lever (I'm at 45sec. in my first set).
Are those parallette HS free or against the wall?

Hey Gant,
New to these boards but your always putting in diverse and powerful work. Looks like you have gotten alot of your wind back pulling off a almost 3 minute Fran! You have also inspired me to add bacon to everything(Mr. Cohen gets some credit also), which of course is making my lifts go up amazingly, just check my log!
Happy Training
Danny
