Fri Sep 10- Damn near dead from Wed. workout, Wed. JJ, Thurs wrestling, and Thurs judo.
1) complex A
40kg x 3
50kg x 3
60kg x 3
2) DL
150kg x 5
170x5
195x8
This was a beatdown. I was sitting down between sets I was so beaten down. 430# for 8 was a nice end to the week.

Yesterday
Did some performance pre-tests for a new thing I'm doing.
BW= 218
Rest HR= 53
1) 10 second push-ups
15
2) triple jump (3 standing broad jumps, continuous)
26' 2.5"
3) max pushups
35
That really really sucked. That's a reflection of no bodyweight training in the last year.
4) 2 minute situps
67
Ditto above.
5) Max pullups
17
Can't complain.
6) 5 rep max squat
(120kg x 3)
(160x3)
180x5
Hell yeah. 397# x 5 was a good result.
7) 2400m row (in lieu of 1.5 mile run)
9:48
Avg HR: 170
HR at finish: 176
HR after 60 seconds: 152
Haven't been on the C2 in awhile. Form and plan were off. I kicked way too early.

Sounds like a great last week. Allen and I got it as well. I was going to do mine on Saturday. I am very interested in the numbers side of this along with how it pans out longer term. I have been talking myself into the run for the last week and just can't get motivated by it but I am going to do it and see what happens. I will post my numbers when I complete it.

Sounds good. MMA's conditioning demands are quite different than judo's, but it will be an interesting experiment. I just can't run anymore, so it will have be rowing.

1) squat: 531 day
150x5
170x3
190x3
419# for a triple was a nice surprise.
2) 21-15-9
* 37#DB presses
* bar dips
* push ups
Similar to J.T. but much easier. Need to get back to BW exercises.

Thanks. I didn't set up well and had the very non-tactical rounded back (oh nooos!).
I'm already looking blockier.
