Default is this paleo? (hot chocolate)

1 T cocoa powder
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t vanilla
hot water to fill mug

there's no dairy in it...the only thing I'm concerned about is the vanilla extract - REAL vanilla, BTW.
It wasn't sweet but it wasn't bitter and I can see myself really growing to like this a lot...

So someone with more knowledge than me, rate it nutritionally, please?

Sounds fine, I see no reason to exclude it from your diet, especially if you enjoy it.

I agree with Greg, no worries.

If you wanted to get technical, vanilla and cocoa are both beans/legumes, so they aren't "true Paleo". That's splitting hairs. Enjoy your hot cocoa.

I ran across this just now:

1 C. Milk
1 T. Cocoa
Pinch Stevia Extract Powder
1 tsp. Malted Milk (optional)

I realize no part of this is paleo, but it is low carb.

Emily, I enjoy similar things too. Add a touch to finish or even on rare occasions, sub the milk out with warmed coconut milk (straight or diluted). Awesome
