Default Please indulge the hormonal pregnant lady

http://www.babyage.com/products/9204..._press_set.htm

Is this not the single cutest thing you've ever seen?

I'm registering for baby shower gifts and I know I'm a couple of years from being able to do anything with this, but it's on my want list 'cause it's just too damn cute.

That is pretty cool, you need to get your baby up to speed so you can give Derek Jr. a run for his money!

Jamila that is way cool.

Jr should be completing his PM Coaching Certification by the time your child is ready to go so he will be glad to work with you and your kid

How are the hormones? I know my wife saw three different hormonal stages and they were pretty significant changes.

Let's hope Laurie doesn't check the forum today...

Default I feel better now that I'm pregnant than I do usually!

Not a second of any morning sickness or anything. My skin and hair look great and for the first time in my life I've got cleavage! woo-hoo! I think I understand what you guys have been all gaga about all these... since we evolved. Pregnant is definitely the new sexy!

Hubby has described me as "slightly tipsy- like when she's had two glasses of champagne." I'm eternally happy and despite my heightened sense of smell, totally lovin' life. For me, I believe the hormonal change is more along the lines of my unwillingness to get into fights at the supermarket. I'm so much more mellow now and dare I say "girly." I've become OBSESSED with scrapbooking and I'm so much less the slob than I usually am. Clothes on the floor bother me and I can't leave dishes undone.

While this may sound good, I have no idea who this person is that I've become!

Oh yeah- it's a BOY!!!! And I am so overjoyed I don't even know where to start. He's Carlin Hitchens, due June 1 and he's already a champion kickboxer. (Thanks to Dr. G's vitamins I'm sure!) The name, indeed, comes from the comedian and the journalist.

He's gonna love James Taylor and Marc Broussard and Stevie Ray Vaughn and Oscar Peterson by the time he gets here, and he's gonna be homeschooled.

I've been planning this for the better part of a decade (had to wait for the right Hubby/Daddy) so I am amped and ready! Come on June 1.

Yes, congratulations Jamila!

Quick aside--it was when I was really young and my dad was getting up from bench pressing in the backyard and he did the "pec dance" that I was hooked on weight training. I thought my dad was He-Man. K-mart cement-filled 5# DBs came soon after that, training in my bedroom.

Jamila, if you keep setting a good fitness example, a kiddie bench press will not be necessary.

Amen to everything you said Jamila.

June 1st is right around the corner. It is going to be a wonderful time for you. Lots of learning, lots of loving probably some crying but the most supremely wonderful experience you can ever expect.

Keep us posted.

See...we are not the pigs that media/society makes us out to be... Funny thing is that Darcy liked the pregnant boobs too and commented about it with out my involvment.

I talked to boys while they were in the womb. Just wait till they push on your belly with a foot and you can see it.
