Default IF book coming out?

I found this interesting when I was doing research for articles and studies on IF.....I came across this guy

It doesn't look to me like IF or even ADF--it simply looks like a limited food list plus caloric restriction done every other day. I guess one could call it IF, but if one does the diet and eats a raisin at a time spread throughout the day it really wouldn't have the fasting component (because the diet is mainly based on Calorie intake, not types of food or times of eating, at least that's the gist I got).

I haven't heard of him.

I did the calculator for myself. It was pretty interesting. I was allotted anywhere from 586 Cal/day at the 20% "weight loss" phase, all the way up to 1758 Cal/day on the 60% "maintenance" phase, basing those percentages on 2930 Cal/day on the "Up" days. I'd guess I'm somewhere around 2000-2500 Cal/day on a normal IF basis.

If it helps some people, that's great IMO.

True...I guess technically it would be ADCR. Of course it will have mass appeal with the by line "On the up day, you can eat anything you want and as much as you want, but do not intentionally over eat." Anything you want but do not intentially over eat?? Wow.....that got me dizzy thinking about it. I'm with you on the thought process of if it helps someone, then it does some good. I don't know how the average someone will go a day eating 20% if they eating junk the day before....and then not overdo it on the next day of eating....talk about some serious cravings.
