Paleo Log
After a recent, brief stint with Paleo + Zone (and a subsequent Carb meltdown), I am back to my regularly scheduled Paleo meals along with the occasional fast. Every so often, I get seduced by the success stories of the Zone followers and I try to give it a go. Each time, I end up on some 2 week bread/rice/pastry bender. I think perhaps the level of carbs required by the Zone are a little too high for me and result in carb cravings.
My goals on the food front are:
1) Stay 95% Paleo compliant
2) Stay in tune with my body's natural hunger signals.
3) Eat lots of steak.

A couple of pieces of dry cured Italian Sausage

`good log at least your being honest with your eating. You will slowly start finding it easier to stay paleo while eating out. Just go for steak and wine

Chris - Thanks for the encouragement. The past two weeks, I've been really off the Paleo wagon. Initially, I felt self-conscious about posting my log when my eating has been so terrible. But, then what's the use of a food log if you're not honest?
Today, I was back on the wagon.
10:30am:
A couple of pieces of dry cured Italian Sausage
Noon:
Canned Wild Salmon Salad with some mayo
Sauteed mixed vegetables with some olive oil
6:30p:
Steak (probably around 7 oz)
Pureed cauliflower (a little bit of butter in the cauliflower)
7:45p:
Apple + a few walnuts.
11:00p:
A few slices of dry cured italian sausage.
Marcona almonds
