Yeah, I've done the saw horses, but if I start to fall forward that could still suck.

I lose lifts in the hole, where they are easy to dump. If you have a different pattern of missing -- yes, platform or rack.

Other milestone: I weigh 94kg exactly. Heaviest I've ever been. Now to be the same weight with different stuff on me.

Tues:
Still feeling Sunday's workout.

bsq: 84 kg x 5 x 2: didn't feel light
Grumble grumble. Hopefully recover for Thursday's max 5.

I may have missed it, but is this an Oly Based Texas Method approach you're working?
On the snatches did you have a set number of reps/sets or were you just working speed for whatever felt right? I like to go about it that way if I'm working pure power and technique stuff.

I'm doing pure Texas Method for back squats and press/push press, and a set of "as many as feels good" snatches before hand to keep technique and speed up. Focus here is strength (back squat up to 300#x5, then focus on front squat, and push press up to BW or April 1st, whatever comes first), with enough work on the snatch to keep things from going to hell.

Nice. Sounds like a good way to go.

Thurs:
sn: up to 47.5 for a few quick singles
pp: 61x2 (better, but still urrr...)
bsq: 120 -- trying for 5, hit 1. Clearly not recovered well, total opposite of last week. Will cut Mon workload down...
farmers walks, ~105#x45mx2, x30m
Kroc rows: 3x15 with 24kg kb.

Later: long walk with 10 or so hill sprints and some 70# son carries.

Another walk today. No hill sprints -- feeling beat up. But my son decided he was tired, and I had to carry him up a steep damn hill....
Realized today that my third anniversary of starting lifting is coming up. Probably first lifted mid Feb sometime. I did machines before that, but squats and deads and presses and the like didn't start until then. It seems like a lot longer.
