Right now, just high protein, low everything else. When I get down to 196 or so, I'll take a 2 week break, and then do a cycle of UD2.0. That should get me down to 187. Then I figure I'll go back up to 195# and another cycle of UD2.0.
At the moment, I'm about 198 or so, and my caliper measurements are just a bit where they were in the middle of last UD2.0 cycle, at about 192#. The good news, then is that I have about 5lbs more muscle than I did 6-7 months ago. The bad news is that I had to gain 15# to get that 5# of muscle. Sucks being old :-)

Tuesday:
sn: 50x1x15
c&j: 61x1x5 (called into dinner). That was fun because the cleans were really muscle cleans, but the jerks actually required work. Clearly, I've got issues....
Afterwards, ate a chicken. OK, half a chicken. OK, Two thighs, one drumstick, two wings, and a breast, to be precise.

Post carbolicious weight: 204. Wow. 8 lbs in two days.
Saturday:
sn: 50x1x15
c&k: 61x1x15 (again, muscle and power cleans + jerk)
Both lifts got better as the reps progressed. CNS adaptation outpaces fatigue.

Also, my son has been working out with me. He's 9 and has developmental issues, but really likes this stuff. He gravitates towards strongman stuff:
Dumbbell clean and push press
Lift 20lbs medicine ball to platform
Medicine ball carries
It's really fun -- I'm adding weight and he's keeping up. On the other hand, although he's normally sweet natured, he has behavior issues at times, so I'm not sure if I want him to get stronger -- I want to always be able to wrestle him to the ground if he gets out of control.

Sunday:
Hike in the woods with hill sprints thrown in as I felt like it. I think it was three total...
Trying to work up to 3x weekly hill sprints.

That's good that he has something he can do with you that he really likes.
I'm not familiar with your sons situation past a couple things you've posted up here but, maybe the competition and activity will help even his behavioral issues out. It sounds like my cousin is in a similar situation with his son.
