Default Starting Strength only twice a week?

My original plan was to be doing Starting Strength on Tue, Thur, Sat, but with some changes in my schedule of work, workouts, etc, Saturday might not be possible anymore. I know my results will be slowed, but do you think Ill still see good results with just Tue and Thurs? Anyone else been in a similar situation?

You would... but you would only get 67% of the results.

Just kidding. It would definitely be slower. There's not much difference between 2 metcons vs 3, but there is with strength work unfortunately.

You honestly have no time to do anything other that can help like sprinting or pistol variations or whatnot?

Its possible, but not ideal. As said in a previous posting, Im going to be going to a sheriffs academy here pretty soon and need to work on my distance running since the academy is big on that and until the last few weeks I havent ran since high school (~3 years). So Im following the begining running program from runnersworld.com which has you running on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat. I also have to work on Saturdays and dont have a chance to even get to the gym until ~8, which doesnt give me a lot of time and since running is my main concern right now, I want to give it precident over strength training.

Maybe I could put together a quick bodyweight routine I can do at work on Saturdays, unfortunatly, pullups will not be an option on those days since my station lacks very much around that can be suitable for them.

Eyes on the prize, Brandon.

Do your running, and do some running form work. Get in strength stuff as you can, if that's two days a week, so be it--it's a lot better than 0 days a week!

Also, I believe that a running-based WOD a week, subbed in for one of your Runner's World workouts might be a way to get running in plus some "strength" training.

Just ideas. Get into and through the academy, then do what you like.
