Default Shoes

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, but here goes. I recently ordered my first pair of oly shoes - the Do Win Rogues, and I have a question about the fit. I usually wear a size 10 in athletic shoes, but occasionally wear a 10.5, typically in dress shoes, to accomodate the width of my feet (EEE). I ordered these shoes from Rogue Fitness and was told by the site owner to go ahead and try a size 10, rather than a 9.5. (The return address on the actual package, for some reason, was from Pendlay himself). The left shoe fits my left foot perfectly. My right foot is slightly smaller however, not enough to notice everyday, but apparent when I'm trying to select very snug shoes. When laced and strapped tight, the right shoe is snug, though not uncomfortable, around the mid foot and top of the front foot (I can still wiggle my toes a little). However, on my right foot, there's about a 3/4 inch gap and maybe more, length-wise, from my toes to the front of the shoe. If they're snug and my foot doesn't slide around at all, should I be worried about any excess length? They feel really stable when I lift, but this is my first pair, so I have very little to compare it to.

Thanks

If your foot is secure I wouldn't worry about it.

Marcus,

Allen is right, it sounds like they fit fine. You want them secure when lifting. They are designed with a large toebox for comfort so I wouldn't worry about the extra room. I have just as much in my own pair.

Why not just add a second sock on that foot?
