I am wondering if you had at all considered taking a more food-based form of vitamin C? There are supplements like this, and they are more easily absorbed into the body since they are more natural and more digestible. This would be the closest to getting the vitamin C from a naturally occurring food source, while still being able to get it in supplement form. Just a thought.
