Default Getting Stronger...

Via the Fitness Spotlight, my 2nd favorite scene from Rocky Balboa.

My 3rd favorite is this one:
"You know all there is to know about fighting, so there's no sense us going down that same old road again.

To beat this guy, you need speed - you don't have it. And your knees can't take the pounding, so hard running is out. And you got arthritis in your neck, and you've got calcium deposits on most of your joints, so sparring is out.

So, what we'll be calling on is good ol' fashion blunt force trauma. Horsepower. Heavy-duty, cast-iron, piledriving punches that will have to hurt so much they'll rattle his ancestors. Every time you hit him with a shot, it's gotta feel like he tried kissing the express train.

Yeah! Let's start building some hurtin' bombs! "

This clip includes the little speech I pasted above right before all the training stuff. It's all I can do right now not to just run out to the gym right now! Who wants to work on Friday anyway!
"And for crying out loud. Don't go into the pain cave. I can't stress this enough. Your Totem Animal won't be in there to help you. You'll be on your own. The Pain Cave is for cowards.
Pain is your companion, don't go hide from it."

It's a good scene, and couldn't they have gotten Sylvester a decent trainer to clean up is OL and KB form? No wonder he's so beat up physically.

The lack of bumpers is humorous.

Good stuff, If I wasn't going to bed, I'd go out in the garage and toss the kegs.

Thanks and I hope family is doing well.
