Default Too big a meal

Hey guys. Didnt really train today. Did about 20 minutes of intense jump roping, and probably walked about 4 miles throughout the day (in college so lots of walking). Fast was about 19 hours long. Sat down and ate 1/4 baked chicken, a little london broil, a fair amount of grilled chicken (about 8 oz), 2 mahi mahi fillets, some green beans, 1/4 a pineapple, an a salad consisting of olives, feta cheese, tomatos, etc. All in all about 22-2300 calories. Now I know fasting gives you better nutrient utilization but theres gotta be a limit lol.Some of this is gonna have to go towards som new fat being laid down. Im guessing this wasn't a good idea and shouldn't be done often. Any comments about one gigantor meal?

You have to wonder though. How bad is the whole one gigantic meal anyway (this was all eaten over about 1 hour lol and compare that to the normal 4-8 hour window most people use. And its not like all this passes through your stomach at once, it moves on bit by bit right)?

When I eat large meals I take digestive enzymes and make sure my stomake isn't full of water for about half an hour before and a couple of hours after. Helps me to digest it well atherwise i feel like I have whole food passing through my GI. I have also been wondering what the useable meal size celing is it has to depend somewhat on size of the person I imagine.

Some is probably going to lay down fat. That's the way the body works...it stores fat in times of caloric excess (like every time you eat, whether that's 300 calories or 2300 calories) and uses fat when there are no incoming calories. Fasting will probably tend to lean you out in the end.
