Obviously it's a little thing to
you, but I'd figure any reasonable person should have an appreciation for how big a matter it is to others. Should I insult your mother, then, and then say it's no big deal? Theological arguments are different, but that wasn't an argument.

Again, you assume this is nothing. You also seem to assume that I won't care about it in a week's time (you couldn't have been talking about yourself, since it seems that you didn't really care about it from the start, apart from any laughs you managed to draw from people). I will still think it was wrong in a month's time - it doesn't matter that I won't be obsessing about it by then. Furthermore, it will still
be wrong.
Actually, your last sentence is kind of funny/sad when you consider what it is you're talking about.
