Jerky?

Quick one:
I'm sending my dad over to the US to pick up some jerky for me (and maybe give a few lectures since he's there...)
Have any of you found a good brand of jerky that can be found in a normal supermarket? Something with no added sugar or soy sauce (=gluten)?
If not, any favorite brands to order online?

Almost all jerky will use a bit of sugar. Even my recipe calls for it, because well, it adds a flavor that with meat is purely amazing.

I actually invented my recipe because my brain is wired to for some reason like the way I make it. I say, make up your own recipe with what you like and go for it!

I hunt each year and make it with deer as well. I need to find a new supplier of organic buffalo to make it with that. I've kind of put jerky on the side during my latest craze of smoking meat. The brisket I made yesterday was completely delish.

I absolutely love jerky and make my own as well. In fact the jerky I make has become a big hit at our affiliate. The kids like just as much as the adults. I've been HUGE fan of jerky for years while toying around with countless recipes before finally getting the desired flavor that is now my own secret recipe I'm actually in the process of talking to a local USDA inspected packing plant/slaughterhouse about bringing it to a production line and selling online and mailorder.

While the girl scouts have cookies....Steve's Club has jerky!
