Breakfast: winter oolong tea, black coffee, water buffalo yogurt
snack; another water buffalo yogurt (dont ask--not my norm by any sense of imagination!!), few mac nuts
lunch: scallions pan friend in coconut oil with collards and sardines. 1/2 apple with brazil nut butter (from Israel--yum)
snack:cocoa with hot water and tad coconut milk/persimmon
Dinner: Sea bass baked in a homemade pesto (spinach/parsley/pecan) sauce along with miso/lemon roasted asparagus and leftover roasted zucchini. Small bowl of goats milk ice cream!
Wow, I overdid it today carb wise!

Saturday night as a treat meal after my big open house:
4 buffalo burgers with mustard wrapped in romaine leaves
1/2 a TJ's pumpkin pie (counts as kind of a "veggie" right?), the perfect vehicle for whipped cream
Stone Smoked Porter
Blu Italy Lime Sparkling Mineral water
I enjoyed this meal very much, while watching our first rented DVDs since Taryn was born--Forgetting Sarah Marshall--that was a fun movie, loved the puppets at the end.

Yesterday, sardines, eggs, ground beef, and ground beef heart.
Today will be much the same, perhaps with some chicken, bacon, and blue cheese on a lunch salad.

Chicken Surprise Casserole (my wife loves when I call things "Surprise"):
1+ pound organic chicken, sliced
4 eggs
1.5 pound broccoli (left over from our open house)
1 onion
~1 cup almond meal
1 Tbsp dulse
1/2 Tbsp dried parsley
Mixed in a bowl, baked in a Pyrex dish at 400F for 35 minutes, 4 slices of colby cheese laid over the top at the end and melted. Celtic sea salt and fresh ground pepper added after cooking.
Quite enjoyable.
