I actually just ordered some fish oil supplements today. How many milligrams are needed each day and when should I be taking them?

For reference, I weigh about 72kg and typically lift between lunch and dinner. Not sure if that reference matters at all.

What you ordered will make the biggest difference. For a liquid type like Carlsons I think a good rule of thumb is 1 teaspoon for 50 pounds of LBM.

I got some Nature's Answer Omega-3 liquid fish oil from iherb.com great deal. Orange-flavor to make it taste decent.

That would be about 8 softgels to equal 3 teaspoons of Carlsons Very Finest Fish Oil.
