... I begin getting issues starting with January 2009, going all the way to December 2009, correct? Also, when's the last day to subscribe and still have it begin with January 2009? I just want to make sure I wouldn't be getting December 2008, since I'll be getting that one anyway when buying the back issue volumes.

Patrick -

You'd actually start with Dec 2008 if you subscribed before the Jan issue comes out. So wait until that issue is out and you won't get any overlap.
