Default Paleo/Catalyst summary

im heading home from a month in australia today and have spent quite a bit of time with a cousin here who is in to some serious training mostly for his job in the auzzie air force. he recently served in afghanistan but is now training hard at home to hopefully meet some sort of special ops criteria.

he carries a shitload of muscle but admittedly has no idea what he should be eating as he just has never been exposed to any good info. (has your basic low-fat high-carb mainstream perception). i managed to peak some interest in the whole paleo thing and hes pretty keen on hearing a bit more about it as hes in his early 30s and realizes to compete against younger guys he should dial that in.

im looking for 2-3 solid links online to sort of summarize the basics of pmenu style nutrition for an athlete with little to no background knowledge. (he does have a science background tho). trick is to find something concise but compelling cuz often you only get one shot before someone strays in to the more mainstream bodybuilding stuff. and it cant be too down on endurance activities cuz he sometimes has to be tested on ~5-10 minute runs.

obviously there are lots of great pmenu articles he could benefit from once he buys in to less of a mainstream approach, but hes not there yet. i thought robb had a good summary of his basic approach with clients on the norcal site but that site appears to be down at the moment. i think robb's style would appeal to him, such as:

I wrote this short article on a Parkour site to help the newbies there get into eating more high quality foods. Maybe your cousin may like this approach?

thought there might be something out there particularly compelling for the type of training hes doing ie. program based but ill keep looking
