Pulled Groin or Sports Hernia
Long time lurker first time poster (I only come around when I want something).
Anyway, I was really sore in the thighs on Monday and was doing some 3/4 quarter speed sprints when my groin started to get sore. It was nothing sudden or acute just started to hurt where my thigh meets my pelvis. Since then any hard move, kipping on a pull up, oly lifts, stepping up a stair too quickly all give a sharp pain. I haven't had any of the usual hernia type symptoms, but the pain does shoot up through my stomach when I move too hard or fast. I'm not in pain when I'm standing still, it is just on certain movements.
So, what's the deal with this? How do I proceed beyond RICE etc...?
