This week Pollan is using his New York Times blog to get ordinary Americans to send him their “rules” for eating well.

If something don't kill you
you'll live 'till you die.

I thought that was the "Food Monolith"

My understanding is that the pyramid is just a list of things that might pair well with the Food Monolith, or as it's more widely known by its trade name..Guinness.
