Made up for some asst. work from this morning.
HSPU + Kroc Row (70lb)
15/30
10/25
Conditioning
5 rounds
10 thrusters @ 95lbs
40yd run w/ sled at 90lbs
20 pushups
40yd run w/ sled at 90lbs
I did this w/ 4 other marines. I started the 1st rd, then waited for everyone else to go...then I did back to back rounds...which sucked real bad. Waited for everyone else to go again...and then finished w/ another back to back to complete 5 rounds.
We don't have a prowler yet on base...so we use the sled.
This is the second time I've done a workout w/ thrusters b/f sled runs....really smokes the legs!

Early morning workout
4 rounds
800m run
25 pushups
25 sit-ups
1st round did a 1200m run, after that decided to finish w/ 800's.
Last round was difficult.
Foot was tender in the beginning, but got better throughout the session.

Snatch
65x3
115x3
135x3
155x4
The gym I work out w/ has a platform in the gen-pop area. However snatches for some reason are not allowed...so I was sneaking these in. I do seem to feel I'm a hesitant snatch'r for some reason...?
Clean/Jerk
155x3
185x2
215x1
225x1
235x1
The jerks went up like a breeze...My cleans were somewhat of a challange on the 225/235,,,my rear was so freaking low (last 2) that I think I was an inch from my heels...lol.
2 rds shadow boxing (2min rds)
(1) 7min round on heavy bag
-headbutts
-knuckle conditioning
-worked some "clothes-lines...lol...true...can be an effective technique if done at the right time I seel)
-finger jabs/palm heels
-3min foam roller
All in all, felt good and strong after I left. Then went outside and did a muscle up on a pull-up bar. Not an accomplishment...but I haven't done one of these since I was 185...10lbs ago.

No Training.
I wanted to train, but I knew my deads/front squats would be halted.
I have a little soreness in my right forearm, around the radial nerve today too.
Thinking from the cleans/jerks from tuesday...So I iced today, checked out some potenital mountians/hills to climb in the future.
