Default trouble getting under snatch

would you say snatch balances for a cure to this issue? my pull is strong , sometimes I dont finish the pull and that is why I miss. but even when I finish it strong with a good pop I still dont finish the lift, dont lock out under the bar and I have to bail, also not gettin under fast enough. so yeah, snatch balances be a good place to start as far as working on this?

Heavy snatch balances and tall snatches are typically the prescription for inability to get under the bar. Also, lifts from the high hang work well too.
