Default Fatigue: Relative or Absolute?

Swiped this interesting article from the CrossFit Santa Cruz main page:

http://bjsm.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/38/6/797#R143

Great read, and apparently there are a few other articles with similar content. I especially like the idea of an internal "governor" for determining maximum exercise intensity.

I've seen some debate back and forth on this, and I haven't decided which way I'd personally jump. It's an interesting read, for sure.
