Default Hand Numbness / Weakness

I've been getting alot of numbness in the top of my hand and thumb, also weakness like with picking up a coffee cup or holding something relatively light...my hand will shake. It all began afew days after a intense session of grip work...the day after I noticed the numbness, then several days after the weakness began as well. I have a appt with a chiro but is there anything in the meantime i should be doing? When I massage my forearm it actually created some pain that was pretty substantial in the muscle so I have stopped doing that.

Do as much stretching and massage as possible without causing pain.

This doesn't mean just in the forearm.. do the upper arms, shoulder, neck as well.

Do nerve glides too:

See the professional if you don't start improving.

Thanks Steven, I'll give it a try. The site looks like a good resource as well.
