I have become very interested in the olympic lifts and I am looking for some direction in quality resources to increase me knowledge base of the sport. Here is a list of references that I have or getting and events I plan to attend:
1.Olympic Weightlifting: A Complete Guide for Athletes & Coaches by Gregg Evertt
2.Olympic Weightlifting Seminar DVD – Gregg Evertt
3.The Weightlifting Encyclopedia
4.The Weightlifting Encyclopedia Video Companion
5.World's Fastest Lift
6.World's Most Powerful Lift
7.Attend a Catalyst Athletics – Olympic Weightlifting Seminar
8.Attend a Crossfit Olympic Weightlifting Certification
9.USA Weightlifting Coaching Course
That is all I can find and I would really appreciate some help if I any one has some suggestions.
What John said. All the stuff you listed is cool, id bet none of it would help you as much as starting to get into the OL community by attending a couple of meets, meeting the people in your general area who are into the sport, etc.
Catalyst Athletics is a USA Weightlifting team of competitive Olympic-style weightlifters. We are currently recruting new lifters and offer sponsorship opportunities.
