Default cervical pain from oly lifts

has anyone else ever injured their cervical spine when oly lifting (neck hyperextension). It has been a nagging injury that began when I was learning the lifts and hyperextending my neck. It doesn't seem to be going away. I am going to get it checked out but wanted opinions from past experience.

Bony injury or just like muscular tightness/dysfunction?

yeah not supposed to hyperextend neck during any lifts

Should probably get it checked anyway...
