I'm looking to make the clubbell I made heavier later on. Right now it's made with steel pipes, and I filled it in with a bunch more steel pipes to increase the weight. I filled in the leftover space with sand. I thoroughly enjoy it now. It only weighs about 20#, but it's still rough and with a 1.5" handle, my grip is getting happier. Once i get more of the techniques down though, I'm gonna have to up the weight again soon.

i like this guy's design for the really heavy CB and i'll eventually make something similar to that. he mentions though that he gets lead tire weights for really cheap when making his heavy clubbells from the bats. i called a bunch of tire stores and cannot find any selling tire weights, let alone lead ones. anybody know how to get lead weights or heavy beads that would work? I considered buying lead shot, but this guy got 80# of the weights for $5. i was more into that idea.
i used steel nipples to make mine (i posted this recently on this forum). is there anyway to get a steel nipple with threads that is greater than 2" diameter? the lead weight method focuses on the density, but i feel that it could just be easier to increase the overall volume. i considered using pvc pipe to build one, but i don't like that idea as much. i'll probably end up doing his heavy version unless somebody knows how to get a steel pipe with greater than 2" or lead weights.
