Default problem in the jerk recovery

At a competition on the 11th during the Clean & Jerk during my second attempt(100%) i got though i'd stuck it, i had a solid catch in the jerk but when i tried to stand up i just fell to the right. nothing felt wrong or wasn't tight. our video person didn't quite get the video of the lift so i can't go back and watch it. i was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem or has an idea to wat went wrong or how to fix it i'd appreciate some help.(i dont' know if this is related or not but a few hours after the competition was over my left shoulder started to hurt a little)

Well, if you can get any type of vids (not just the competition one) it would be easier to spot errors from there

If it's just a one time occurrence I wouldn't think too much of it. Has it happened since?

I'll try to get a video up, but all i have to record in my phone and i'm not to sure how to get the video from the phone to a computer. It really was the first time it happened and hasn't happened since but i haven't lifted heavy since. i do have a bad habit of stepping up with my back foot first, could that possible cause that sort of problem?

Yes. Front foot first, then back foot.

Good luck.

If the problem is not persistent (ie., with most lifts), it could be a one time occurence. But I would try to break yourself of the back foot first habit.

All the best,
Arden
