So everyone that orders from these places have a stand alone freezer right? I was looking at ordering some stuff yesterday and then I thought..."wait a minute, where the heck am I going to put 50 #lb's of beef?"
I think my wife would be a little mad if she came home and I had to empty out the freezer and part of the fridge to put 50 lbs of beef in there.
I can fit 50 pounds of beef and 10 pounds of veggies with just a bit of extra room in my freezer. I have a vertically oriented setup, that is, freezer above refrigerator.
I do, however, live alone and thus do not have to worry about needing room for anything else.
Yeah, I'm hoping 80 to 125 lbs. fit in my freezer... I live by myself and all I really keep in there is just some frozen berries and stuff...
It is only $3.10 to $3.25 a pound but a quarter animal minimum... There's a ranch that will sell me a tenth instead, but at $7 a lb (so about the same price.)
