Yael, could you post some pictures of your shoes?
I will post a pic of my new Men's Pendlay bar. I really like it. The barbell with the black finish is the Pendlay Men's 20 Kg bar. The other bar with the silvery finish is my Chapman Elite bar. The Chapman is a little thicker (28.5 mm to the Pendlay's 28 mm diameter). I love both bars, but the thinner diameter is marginally easier for me to grip. I don't have big beefy hands, so the 28 mm diameter works better for me. I do have to give a slight nudge to the Chapman's knurling. It is softer and feels better in my hand. The Pendlay knurling is very, very good, however and I like it better than most other bars I've lifted on, including Eleiko bars. I think my least favorite bar is the Werksan bar... something about the knurling was just too sharp.
Anyhoo... enjoy the pics.

Sure, I'll post some pics... but first I have to set up my new computer to read my digital camera. I'm kinda swamped right now, but I'll add it to the list.

Just got my Werksan shoes in. I ordered (and paid $4 extra for) the blue suede, they sent the red leather. The shoes are way too big as well. There's a good 3/4" to 1" between my big toe and the end of the shoe. Had the shoes fit, I'm sure I just would have kept them and not worried about the $4 for the suede.
I was SO excited to use these suckers tomorrow morning. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to wait a bit longer.

Wow, I finally took a shoe picture and it won't let me upload it. It keeps saying "error on page."

After the shipping mishap with the first pair, I finally received my Werksan blue suede lifting shoes today. Awesome fit. They look pretty smooth too. Weird sizing on them. I wear a 13 in dress shoes, and these are 11.5.
I was really pleased with their service on the return.
Can't wait to get lifting in these things.

Same thing happened to me last November. I ordered the blue suede Werksan and i got the red regular leather shoes. they must be really anxious to get rid of them. I ordered my regular dress shoes size and they may be a little long, but not too bad.

Quick fix, if nothing else: Try doubling up in the socks and do a few static stomps to really jam those feet in place in the shoes.
