Wow, this gets better and better, I've just been offered a whopping 15% discount on the Xco-Trainer (scroll down, it's a rubbish website) and I can't even work out what it does!

Quote:
Developed by Dutch physiotherapists, the Xco-Trainer® will change how you look at running, walking, core strength and weight loss.

As you move the tube in various directions the unique patented system of silicon granules within the Xco-Trainer shifts gradually from one side to the other, creating a “reactive impact” that effectively targets the muscles of the core.

This type of impact cannot be achieved with any other type of mass inside a cylinder, including sand or water.

Early studies indicate that exercising with the Xco-Trainer® increases calorie consumption by up to 33%. This means you can gain a third more out of your workout - or workout for a third less time to achieve the same as you did before!

Adding Xco-Trainer® to your workouts will:

Burn up to 33% more calories
Increase your cardiovascular fitness
Tone your upper body
Tone your lower body
Strengthen your core
Improve your running Performance
Shorten your workout time
Note the all important: Shorten your workout time

I had a look at FAQ and was surprised to not find a simple WTF?

Quite taken by the Benderball though.

So somehow their sand, aka "silicon granules" is totally different from other sand. Sign me up for a set!
