Hello, I'm starting this log with the hope of gaining insight from others. Also, I think having a log will help me be able to chart my progress. Stats
Height: 5'7 or so
Weight: Between 175-180
These are all relatively accurate estimates, but I'm not exactly sure what my current 1RM's are.(all in pounds)
My goals include becoming as strong and athletic as I can and I hope to compete in powerlifting competitions in the future. My lift goals(within 1 yearor thereabouts) a 500lb deadlift, a 275 bench, a 420 squat, and a 185 press.
I'm currently following Wendler's 5/3/1 and I see no reason to change off it. I'm open and want any and all critique/suggestions.
I haven't power cleaned since high school, and then getting 145 was a big accomplishment. I have the worst clean form ever, but I don't really care. I figure if I can get the weight up with terrible form, it just means I'm stronger. Hit my goal for deadlift today.
