Keeping Tabs on Favorite Bloggers Comments

Yahoo Pipes is a sweet tool..

I rigged one up to filter out comments written only by the authors on a few blogs.. this one gives me comments from robb wolf, kurt harris, brad pilon, mark sisson.. I dont really agree with much from brad pilon but for some reason I like reading his comments.

If anyone is looking for more technology along these lines, you can search for "blog aggregators". One that I've used under linux is "Aggrekator". I used it quite a bit until I found something better to do.

Typically, these packages can pull from any website that has an RSS feed. So, blogs, tmuscle (or whatever it is called today), CNN, etc., etc. Some web browsers are nice enough to show a little icon in the corner of their display when a website provides an RSS feed.

Ooooh. Huh. That's pretty nifty. Didn't think about that part of it. Huh! Nice.

I don't know if my old tool filtered or even grabbed comments.
