The liver tabs are an awesome idea. Thanks for that! I also agree that a liver eating dog is a happy dog.

I added up the amino acids from the Uni-liver nutrition label and they total 2296mg per tab. That's nearly the punch of BI's 2600mg of liver concentrate. I couldn't find a breakout of BI's amino acids, but I'm betting the 2600mg is not entirely amino acids. In the end I think they're equivalent products. Anybody have thoughts, concurrent or otherwise?

Important thing is not to get liver in capsules (dose goes WAY down), and to always take some source of fat with the de-fatted liver tabs to increase utilization.

The Beverly ones are working for me for now, so I'll stick with them. As I consider them part of my "food" bill, the price difference isn't a dealbreaker for me.

I also use 2 Tbsp of liver powder from Leviticus11.com as a part of my morning "swamp drink". I do no other protein powders.

Hit 201# last night.

Dogs who get liver as a "byproduct" probably do better than those that don't.

I have wolf dog mix as a pet. His eyes get huge when he smells/sees liver in going into his food bowl.

FWIW - If I feed it more than twice a week he won't eat it. He eats it all if I feed it with heart. If I feed it with fatty cuts of meat he'll leave either meat or organ in the bowl.

Chris, I started the quest at 185# two months ago. 16# in ~60 days isn't too bad IMO, considering I'm 34.

I'd guesstimate I'm around 12%. Gained some fat from before, but I decided that had to happen for me to get over 200#. Now to get my strength levels up to where they need to be for the new bodyweight!!!
