Yes. If you want size, aka Mass, you cant be running around doing metcon work....unless you want to intake another 1200 calories a day in food. Best way to get the lbs on...do strength work, eat a ton, rest and recover. You can always come back to metabolic work and get that back in a heartbeat....size and strength however are harder, require more focus and are ideally done on their own.
