The best quote was when he was explaining how he wouldn't know what he would have done in life without weightlifting. He said 'God must have kissed my head and said 'You will be a weightlifter, motherf*cker'.
Amazing.

That's got to be the world record for shoulders-to-overhead. To do it at a seminer when under huge pressure to make these lifts is just all the more impressive.

It's almost certainly not the record. The C+J record is 266kg. One of those 11 guys who've jerked over 260 has certainly jerked over 270 off the racks. I believe there were rumors of Zakharevich doing 300 off the racks.

Amazing amount of weight moved.

After my puny deadlifts I am wore out for the day. This guy snatches 190kg after a 400kg triple on the deadlift.

It's an unofficial gym lift, but it's the heaviest I have ever seen. I have heard of 280, etc and up off the rack, in the gym, by... name that Russian, Reza, etc. But at least this was captured.

Unreal.

And all but the snatch with his collar popped. I normally make fun of those guys.. not today.

The quote:

Comes to mind.

I have typed three different things but none have expressed how impressed I am. That man is just massive and having a great time lifting. Very cool.
