Anyone using Peg Boards
I was wondering if anyone is using good old fashioned Climbing Peg Boards in their training, and if so any recommendations on their use or purchase.
Or if it is better to try to rig up some climbing holds instead?
Thanks, KK

Haven't use them since I was a 160# high school wrestler 20 years ago.

Hey Kevin!
I've seen a few on ebay...have not bought one yet. I love working them whenever i get a chance. Random rock climbing holds are great also. If You have the space I'd go for it.

I've actually been thinking about these lately. They're super easy to make. Like Robb said finding a place to rig one up is the tough part.

I always hear the soundtrack to Vision Quest in my head when I think of the peg board.

Steve,
Same here, if I remember correctly the guy dropped down leaving the pegs at the top. That used to mean lap running time for us. Maybe I will have to watch Vision Quest again...... Then again maybe not.

That movie is the worst movie I've ever seen in my life.

I'd venture to guess that you haven't seen many Steven Seagal or Jean-Claude Van Dam movies then.

wait...
Did you just talk smack about Vision Quest!? Sorry, but I have a lot of sentimental attachment to that movie, as we watched it every year I wrestled, the week before state :P Ahhhh, the good ol' days
As for the peg board, it's something I have never used but would love to find for Primal Fitness. We have a wall just begging for something to climb...but our insurance doesn't cover "climbing walls"...a peg board on the other hand...

I will donate my copy of Vision Quest to the PM library. I just have to make sure I haven't thrown it out yet. (Sorry, Jesse.)
