Coach Glassman has always said good fitness will chase out bad. In an open-sourced community like this, that has proven to be the case.

I recently read (I can't remember where) that there really haven't been that many reported cases of rhabdo in CrossFit. I don't know what the numbers are for SLAP or achilles tears, but I can guarentee the numbers of people getting incredibly fit and healthy are much more prevalent.

Really?
Is approaching 200 cases of rhabdo not many? In my view, 1 is too many.

200 is still a small percent.

I want to completely change my lifestyle to a 4 foot tall 50 pound half monkey that whipes his ass with a stick and masturbates into a dead frog
Travel light, like a caveman, with zip pockets large enough for money and credit cards.

I have been following this thread for a while, but had to post this when I saw it...
Yes, that is 203 squats @ 135. For time.

That's not too different from the Iowa rhabdo workout...

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound freshman did his 100 squats of 50 percent his max weight (approximately 240 pounds) in 17 minutes. Then, he did a series of sled pushes. Later Thursday evening, he called his dad to tell him he experienced a “tremendous amount of soreness.”

Double the reps a matter of fact.........
