Yeah, the L-sit is the epitome of non-xfit movements.

I recall in the journal that nothing is more characteristically unique about functional movements than their ability to move large loads, long distances, and quickly.

L-Sit = NONE OF THE ABOVE

Fail.

Is it xfit if everyone at the games is doing it? HQ programmed it, so it's xfit? What in the world is and isn't xfit! It's nothing and everything at the same time!

So what are the standards for softball throws? I would think that maybe 50m is what a guy would have to do so as not to be embarrassed and 60m would be rather respectable. I don't have much to go on, this is all I could find: http://www.siouxfallsparks.org/~/med..._for_Web2.ashx

Also, by their own work, their L-sit times are NOT elite:

crossfitseattle.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Skill-Levels-1-IV-spreadsheet.pdf

1 min Advanced
1 min 30 sec for Elite

max men and women time was less than these.

I'm assuming no reps on a throw involves stepping over the line or something. Unless there's a distance minimum, which I doubt.

A softball toss is such a weird event. Throwing is such a mechanical endeavor. It needs to be practiced. I bet a lot of CFers are all arms, no legs when they throw.
