I haven't been playing happy happy there for a while, but I bet the Gillian thread was the final straw . . . I'm guessing HQ did not like my post pointing out that recording injury statistics has no incentive for them because officially knowing the outcomes of their workouts would open them up to lawsuits.

That little message first came up when I tried to ask in the Games thread whether the first place team, Crossfit New England, had been tested this year given that two of their competitors last year had been dinged for PEDs and were supposed to be banned from the Games or something (or at least that's what you'd expect).

I do like the HQ move of censoring posts rather than banning users . . . It makes it seem like people just stopped posting, instead of any direct move on the moderator's part.

I still don't understand how one can go from Fittest Athlete in the Galaxy (tm) one year to not even competing the next year, or not even making it past the preliminaries. Some people that were past champs aren't even competitive now? Barring injuries or life events that take precedence (having a baby, etc.) it doesn't make sense.

Maybe their 3-dimensional integral under the curve is smaller than other people's?
