Not a big deal, just almost died from rhabdomyolysis a year ago today.

Crossfit Rhabdo 223

I've seen so many affiliate owners with rhabdo at this point, I'm wondering if its apart of an initiation process

It certainly does inspire confidence in their competence. "I nearly killed myself doing exercise. Recently. Doing a workout I am probably going to prescribe for you at some point. But, don't worry, I spent an entire weekend getting this certification."

Because rhabdo prevention is all about staying hydrated.

Nothing to do with programming.

Not at all, just make sure you're wearing a camelback full of gatorade while doing 1000 ghd situps and you'll be fine.

Just received an email from another affiliate owner who has had rhabdomyolysis twice from cf, which was nearly fatal. Makes it 224.

Look at this, this is bloody mad, look at the explosion of rhabdo in 2007-2008.

2004 - hospitalizations of rhabdo were 4.
2008 - 104!
