If you get tired on situps, use your hands to pull you up and just do the eccentric portion.
Make sure the pullups are kipped.
Maximal tissue damage is the goal here.

Change 5 kipping pullups to 25 jumping pullups and put on the back end.

I'd cut out the squats, too. That's too heavy for most CFers so it's going to be a sticking point. They aren't college football players, after all.

From the new CFJ article on the CFE War Camp:
Quote:
Any of the hikers and mountain bikers we passed on the trail a few
hours before wouldn’t have believed or comprehended how a group that performed a challenging monostructural workout so gracefully was able to handle weight and perform a workout that involved kettlebell swings, pull-ups, ring dips and push-ups. This rounded capacity is really proof of the program’s efficacy.
|
Btw, the "challenging monostructural workout" was a 5-mile trail run.

I don't have a subscription anymore but I laughed when I read this in the summary...
Although I already was familiar with the theory of anaerobic endurance

Why are they calling it a war camp? Who are they trying to kill?
