I have resisted jumping in on the CF bashing but that shoulder post made me want to cry.

What sort of person thinks it's a good idea to do 171 burpees in one session and then go back and do more the next day.

I used to like CF but now I weep for the collective and individual stupidity of some of the people involved

Shoulder articulations that cause pain:
Flexion, adduction, abduction, transverse flexion, and transverse extension.

...

Should I go see the doc
Is that all? If you can still move your shoulder in a couple directions, you're not CFing properly. Excruciating joint pain and dysfunction is indicative that you're on the right path. Follow Couch's STFU therapy and you'll be fine.

Any idiot who does a 100 burpee challenge deserves to lose function in all bodyparts and be banished to Tartarus.

That is a lot of chest work. Sounds like his career is going to be decided by this thing. Terrible.

Yeah, because you shouldn't shortchange yourself. It's called adapation, ala Dave Lipson and Dave Castro.
