I have been able to max out my push ups and sit ups in under 45 secs or continue over and above my age max each time. Other airmen 20 years younger than I struggled to complete 25 of either. In my past three 1.5 mile run tests, I have not had anyone finish before me and I was the oldest one on the course. That can either be a testament to good training or a commentary on the AF fitness culture.

How many push-up did you do? How many sit-ups did you do? How fast did you run 2miles?
I know you think CF is great and the best program around. But, in your own words, you never followed an actual program before doing CF. You shared how much strength you have gain since starting CF, I am interested in what your endurance capacity is.

I don't think CF is inherently bad, nothing is. It's just the implementation and interpretation some people have of CF that is bad. There is a lack of respect coming from these individuals that cannot be ignored.

I'm glad you caught that one Edward. I was kind of scratching my head when I read this.
And I believe that this is what is really at the heart of the argument with regards to CF being absolutely awful in nearly every way.
The top of the hierarchy has perverted exercise science, and then taken a dump on it, and passed along these views to the masses. Now, people admit they don't know what they are doing, have a poor understanding of physiology, if any at all, but take a weekend long "certification", and are suddenly qualified to coach and own a gym.

There is so much other valuable information on CA/PM that brings me back. I enjoy and respect the Crossfit methodology and hope to open an affiliate of my own one day. An affiliate that provides excellent training and results to a wide variety of people.
